Caroline Belk Elected to Environmental Law Section Council of the North Carolina Bar Association

Raleigh, NC (May 3, 2010) – Caroline Belk, a lawyer at Smith Anderson practicing in the Contract Disputes and Commercial Litigation group and with a concentration in the areas of Environment, Health and Safety, has been elected to a 3-year term as a member of the Council for the Environment, Energy & Natural Resources Law Section of the North Carolina Bar Association. Her term will begin July 1, 2010.

The Environment, Energy & Natural Resources Law Section currently has more than 300 members, representing governmental, nonprofit, and private environmental law practitioners. The section sponsors continuing education programs, keeps its members current on developments in the law, and offers input on environmental legislation pending before the N.C. General Assembly.
