Merrill Mason to Participate in Council for Entrepreneurial Development CAFÉ Program

Raleigh, NC (March 11, 2010) – Merrill Mason, a Smith Anderson partner practicing in the area of Securities and Growth Companies, will participate in an upcoming CAFÉ Program on company valuation sponsored by the Council for Entrepreneurial Development (CED).

The June 17 program will focus on helping entrepreneurs maximize the value of their company. Those attending will gain insight from legal, appraisal and investment experts who will explain the nuances in valuation rules and current methodologies. Attendees will learn how to negotiate the most favorable terms when it comes time to take outside money or sell a company.

CAFÉ (Competitive Advantage through Fundamentals of Entrepreneurship) is a series of programs offering entrepreneurs the opportunity to obtain tactical resources to help overcome early barriers. Attendees learn how to address critical issues to successfully advance their business. Each program consists of a 30-minute networking opportunity followed by presentations by subject matter experts and multiple break-out sessions.
