Alan Parry Named to Board of Directors of Legal Aid of North Carolina

Raleigh, NC (September 3, 2009) – Alan Parry, a partner in Smith Anderson’s Commercial Litigation Group, has been named to the Board of Directors of Legal Aid of North Carolina. He was nominated to the Board by the North Carolina Association of Defense Attorneys.

Mr. Parry has broad experience in complex commercial litigation and alternative dispute resolution, including substantial experience litigating insurance coverage disputes and counseling clients regarding insurance coverage issues.

Legal Aid of North Carolina (LANC) is a statewide, nonprofit 501(c)3 law firm that provides free legal services in civil matters to low-income people in order to ensure equal access to justice and to remove legal barriers to economic opportunity. LANC operates in all 100 counties in North Carolina through 24 geographically based offices. LANC is committed to equal justice for all people.
