Kim Korando Selected as Employment Discrimination Law Chapter Reviewer

Raleigh (June 12, 2009) -- Kim Korando, Group Leader of Smith Anderson Employment, Labor and Human Resources practice, has been selected to serve as a Chapter Reviewer for the second supplement of Employment Discrimination Law (4th Ed. BNA), the nation's leading treatise on employment discrimination law. Her current work will focus on developments in the law of Promotion, Advancement and Reclassification--a topic at the heart of the nationwide surge in class action lawsuits and government scrutiny.

Korando regularly represents employers in matters involving allegations of class-wide race and gender discrimination in hiring, promotion, compensation and termination.
