Don Munford Named to Peace College Board of Trustees

Don Munford, Smith Anderson partner, has been named to the Peace College Board of Trustees for a three year term. Mr. Munford continues a Smith Anderson tradition following Mr. Jim Dorsett, Jr. and Mr. Phil Tracy on the board. “I am pleased to be continuing the Smith Anderson tradition of leadership at Peace,” said Mr. Munford.

Peace College was founded in 1857, and is an independent four-year liberal arts and sciences college dedicated to academic excellence, personal achievement and leadership skills for women.

Mr. Munford has over 25 years of experience advising companies and professional corporations on legal matters that arise from business operations. In addition, he regularly advises individuals on estate and asset protection planning matters, including implementing estate tax savings techniques, charitable planned giving opportunities and offshore entities. His recent work has also included assisting public charities with their compliance and reporting requirements.
