James Dorsett elected Vice-President of International Society of Barristers Foundation

James K. Dorsett, III, Smith Anderson partner, was elected Vice-President of the International Society of Barristers Foundation at its annual meeting in Scottsdale, Arizona. The Foundation supports the right of citizens to a trial by jury and provides grants to organizations including the National Institute for Trial Advocacy and the National Judicial College. Dorsett is a senior litigation partner with Smith, Anderson, Blount, Dorsett, Mitchell & Jernigan, LLP in Raleigh and a past president of both the NC State Bar and the American Counsel Association.
