Bill Barnett, Smith Anderson partner, Named Director of the Year by the NC Youth Soccer Association.

Bill Barnett, Smith Anderson partner, was recently named Director of the Year by the North Carolina Youth Soccer Association. Mr. Barnett is the Immediate Past Chair of the Capital Area Soccer League, an NCYSA member organization. CASL provides soccer opportunities for over 9,000 youth of every age and ability level, ranging from 5 year-old recreational players through 19 year-olds who compete on a national level. It also hosts several tournaments that collectively attract over 800 out-of-town teams every year, and co-hosts other events, such as the NCAA College Cup, ACC soccer tournament, and USYS Southern Regionals. CASL collaborates with Wake County and its cities and towns, such as Raleigh, Cary, Wake Forest and others, on these efforts.
