Margaret Rosenfeld Featured Presenter on Timely Private and Public Sector Topics

Smith Anderson partner, Margaret Rosenfeld, recently gave three presentations to different audiences which showcase issues of current concern to both the private and public sectors.

Her presentation to the National Association of Stock Plan Professionals (Carolinas Chapter), An Update on ‘Say on Pay’ Proposals, provided practical guidance on ways to avoid Say on Pay restrictions. The MBA corporate governance class at The University of North Carolina, Kenan-Flagler Business School heard Ms. Rosenfeld discuss compliance issues associated with insider trading. She also recently spoke on Raising Capital for the Privately-Held Business at Representing the Small Business 2008, a Continuing Legal Education (CLE) seminar sponsored by Wake Forest University School of Law.

Before joining Smith Anderson in 2001, Ms. Rosenfeld practiced corporate, finance and securities law with Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in London, the United Kingdom and Frankfurt, Germany and with Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison in Tokyo, Japan.
