Smith Anderson Partner Rose Kenyon Elected President of Habitat for Humanity of Wake County

Raleigh, NC (June 13, 2011) Habitat for Humanity of Wake County elected Rose Kenyon to a 2-year term as President at its Annual Meeting on May 19, 2011. Ms. Kenyon has served on the Habitat Board in various capacities since 2005, and has most recently served as First Vice President and Chair of the Search Committee that hired the new Executive Director in 2010.

Ms. Kenyon is a partner with Smith Anderson, and practices with the Employment Law Group. She has been recognized as a leading lawyer in Chambers USA, America's Leading Lawyers for Business. In addition to her volunteer work with Habitat, Ms. Kenyon has held leadership roles with the North Carolina Bar Association, including most recently serving as Chair of the Strategic Planning & Emerging Trends Committee, and is active in other community groups.
