Blake Simpson an Invited Participant on the UNC School of Law’s Women in Law Professionalism Panel

Smith Anderson lawyer, D. Blake Simpson , recently participated as one of an elite group of law school graduates on a panel designed to mentor future graduates about opportunities in the law. The panel, Women in Law, included alumni who currently have diverse employment experiences including in large and small law firms; governmental agencies; corporations and the non-profit sector. Participants engaged in an interactive discussion about how they secured their positions; their day-to-day job responsibilities and future career opportunities. Attendees learned that they have many options from which to select in applying their legal education.

Ms. Simpson practices Corporate and Intellectual Property law. She graduated with high honors from the University of North Carolina (UNC) School of Law where she received the Order of the Coif. She also received her undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill.
