Rose Kenyon Selected to Present at Wake Forest University School of Law Employment Law 2006 Seminar

Smith Anderson, Partner, Rose Kenyon, recently spoke on Employment Contracts at the Wake Forest University School of Law Employment Law 2006 Seminar.

In addition to Ms. Kenyon, the faculty for the two-day program included a distinguished group of North Carolina employment lawyers. Focusing on practical implementation and recent legal developments, the program covered a full range of topics. Hosted live at the McKimmon Center in late October, the program also will be offered three more times throughout November and December by video.

Ms. Kenyon has over 25 years of experience in the labor and employment law field and is a frequent speaker before business and professional groups. She is active in community and professional groups and is currently a member of the Board of Governors of the North Carolina Bar Association and the Board of Directors of Habitat for Humanity of Wake County. She has been recognized by Business North Carolina's Legal Elite and is a member of the Academy of Women of the YWCA of the Greater Triangle. Ms Kenyon joined Smith Anderson in 1999 after serving for over 13 years as in-house counsel for Carolina Power & Light Company (now Progress Energy), in a variety of roles including Deputy General Counsel.
