James K. Dorsett, III Re-Appointed by the NC State Bar to the ABA House of Delegates

The North Carolina State Bar has re-appointed James (Jim) K. Dorsett, III to serve a second 2-year term as a Delegate to the American Bar Association's (ABA) House of Delegates. In addition, Mr. Dorsett currently serves as president of the American Counsel Association; and on the Board of Governors of the International Society of Barristers. He is a fellow of the American Bar Foundation and a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates.

Concentrating in commercial litigation, Mr. Dorsett's diverse practice includes representing corporations in contract, trade secrets and covenant not to compete matters and defending manufacturers and retailers in products liability actions before the state and federal courts. He has also appeared on behalf of domestic airlines and their insurers, and his work extends to traumatic injury and wrongful death cases and alternative dispute resolution.
