Jackson Moore and Jeff Truitt Contribute to ABA’s Guide to State Procurement Handbook

Raleigh, NC (September 1, 2011) Jackson Moore and Jeff Truitt, lawyers with Smith Anderson, wrote the North Carolina section of the 2011 Guide to State Procurement, a 50-state primer on purchasing laws, processes and procedures that is published by the American Bar Association Section of Public Contract Law. The manual constitutes a reference guide to the practice of state procurement law in each of the fifty states.

Jackson Moore’s practice focuses on government contracting and business dispute resolution, including litigation, mediation, and arbitration. He has significant experience handling complex civil litigation, including class actions, shareholder and internal corporate disputes, breaches of contract and trade practices, intellectual property matters and investor and employment litigation.

Jeff Truitt’s practice areas include mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, commercial and finance transactions and government contracting. He also represents early stage, growth and venture-backed companies in all phases of start-up, financing and exits. Mr. Truitt has experience working with clients in a broad range of industries, including technology, software, utilities, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, manufacturing, distribution, energy and professional services.
