Smith Anderson Lawyers Present at the 2011 NCMBC Defense Contractor Academy

Raleigh, NC (October 12, 2011) - On Tuesday, October 4, 2011, Smith Anderson lawyers Jackson Moore and David Hayden presented a class on “Teaming Agreements: Subcontracts and Joint Ventures,” to students attending the North Carolina Military Business Center’s Fall 2011 Defense Contractor Academy. The presentation reviewed and compared the four major vendor team building strategies; assessed the advantages and disadvantages of each strategy; and discussed how to develop teaming strategies with other companies to succeed in government contracting. The presentation provided students with practical “real world” information on the legal issues facing new and small businesses in the defense contracting sector.
