Bo Bobbitt Authors Guide on Accountable Care for Texas Physicians

Raleigh, N.C. – Smith Anderson announced that Partner Bo Bobbitt is lead author of a comprehensive guide on accountable care for Texas physicians. The Texas Medical Association published “The Texas Physician’s Accountable Care Guide” on April 28.

Bo had written a similar white paper for the North Carolina Medical Society’s Toward Accountable Care Taskforce: “The Physician’s Accountable Care Toolkit©”. The Texas Medical Association, with Bo’s help, updated the publication primarily for Texas physicians. It is useful for all physicians and is available without charge. Continuing medical education (CME) credits for study of the guide are now available nationally through the Texas Medical Association.

Bo’s practice focuses on providing strategic general counsel and regulatory guidance for health care organizations throughout the nation. He is involved in business planning, resolution of complex legal and health policy questions, and advanced negotiations for these clients. He has extensive experience in developing and drafting accountable care shared savings and other pay-for-performance contracts.
