David Hayden Elected to Serve as Chairman of the Board of the North Carolina Heroes Fund

Raleigh, N.C. – David Hayden was recently elected to serve as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the North Carolina Heroes Fund. David previously served as the Chair of the Fund’s Outreach Committee and, last year, as the Chair of the Fundraising Committee, as well as Vice-Chairman. In his new role as Chairman, David will help to grow awareness of the fund to reach more veterans in need of assistance and attract donors and sponsors who can provide support.

The mission of the NC Heroes Fund is important to David and Smith Anderson. As a veteran of the United States Army, David served over a 29 year career, including assignments on the Joint Staff in the Pentagon and as the senior legal advisor to the Commander of all U.S. and Allied Forces in Afghanistan.
