Jeff Truitt Presents at the North Carolina Bar Association’s 2012 Basics of Business Law Seminar

RALEIGH, N.C. – Jeff Truitt, a lawyer with Smith Anderson, delivered a presentation on buy-sell agreements and related shareholder agreements at the NC Bar Association's 2012 Basics of Business Law Seminar on May 18, 2012 in Cary, North Carolina. In his discussion, Mr. Truitt described the principal reasons that owners of equity interests in corporations, limited liability companies and partnerships seek to enter into buy-sell agreements, the structure and method of funding such arrangements, and certain relevant tax considerations.
