David Hayden Participates in a “Teaming and Subcontracting” Panel at the North Carolina Defense Business Association’s 2012 Expo and Symposium

RALEIGH, N.C. – Smith Anderson lawyer, David Hayden, joined a panel of senior executives discussing teaming and subcontracting during the annual North Carolina Defense Business Association’s (NCDBA) 2012 Expo and Symposium held at Pinehurst, NC, on April 3-4, 2012.

The panel included senior executives and corporate officers of North Carolina defense contractors, including: NCI, Porter Scientific, Concurrent Technologies Corporation, USfalcon, Inc., and K2 Solutions, Inc.

Mr. Hayden, a member of the Firm's Government Contracting group, frequently speaks to members of the business and legal community on government contracting and other legal issues. Before joining Smith Anderson, Mr. Hayden was general counsel at USfalcon, Inc., a defense contractor headquartered in Morrisville, North Carolina. At the Annual Expo and Symposium, Mr. Hayden discussed best business practices, teaming, sub-contracting, joint ventures and Mentor-Protégé agreements from the prime contractor’s perspective.
