American Bar Association Names Cliff Brinson Co-Chair of its Securities Litigation Subcommittee

Raleigh, N.C. Cliff Brinson, a partner in Smith Anderson’s Litigation group, has been named co-chair of the Securities Litigation Subcommittee of the American Bar Association’s (ABA) Commercial and Business Litigation Committee. 

The Commercial and Business Litigation Committee, with over 4,000 members, is one of the ABA’s largest and most active committees. Its Securities Litigation Subcommittee focuses on issues facing this specific area of the law.

Cliff Brinson is a litigator whose practice focuses on securities, corporate and business contract litigation. He has successfully taken cases to trial and handled appeals in both federal and state courts, including the North Carolina Business Court. Cliff has also been recognized by clients and peers in both Benchmark Litigation as a “Future Star” and North Carolina Super Lawyers as a “Rising Star.”
