Dana Simpson Appointed to Board of Directors for the University of North Carolina General Alumni Association

RALEIGH, N.C. - Dana Simpson, a partner at Smith Anderson, was recently appointed to serve a three year term on the Board of Directors for the University of North Carolina General Alumni Association.

Dana has served on the University of North Carolina Board of Visitors since 2009. He received his J.D., with high honors, and his B.A., with highest distinction, from the University of North Carolina.

Dana is co-chair of the Firm’s Government Relations practice and regularly advises clients regarding legislative and regulatory advocacy, public relations, grassroots strategies, and campaign finance law compliance. In 2012, he was rated the number one “Most Influential” lobbyist in the General Assembly in a survey of legislators, lobbyists and the press conducted by the nonpartisan North Carolina Center for Public Policy Research.
