Don Munford Advises on How to Leave a Legacy Through Shared Planning

RALEIGH, N.C. – On Jan. 4, 2013, Smith Anderson partner R. Donavon Munford, Jr., delivered a presentation to the Kiwanis Club of Raleigh on the topic of “Leaving a Legacy through Planned Giving.” A Board Certified Specialist in Estate Planning and Probate Law, Don discussed how to create a legacy through the use of charitable giving techniques, as well as the tax benefits of funding charitable endowments through retirement accounts, life insurance and charitable trusts.
