Wayne Maiorano Moderates the Urban Land Institute’s 2013 Real Estate Trends Annual Meeting

Emerging Trends in Real Estate

RALEIGH, N.C. – Smith Anderson Partner Wayne Maiorano served as moderator at the 2013 Real Estate Trends meeting for the Urban Land Institute (ULI) Triangle District Council on Nov. 13, 2012 at the Fletcher Theatre in downtown Raleigh.

As many as 250 Triangle-area real estate industry professionals attended the program featuring insights from the Emerging Trends in Real Estate forecast publication. Mr. Maiorano moderated the discussion that provided an outlook on local and national investment and development trends, real estate finance and capital markets, property sectors, and other real estate issues. Participating panelists included David Allen, Partner at Trinity Capital Advisors; Patricia Hanchette, President at Lennar – Raleigh Division; and Mike Harris, COO at Highwoods Properties, Inc.

Each year, the Emerging Trends in Real Estate report draws on formal and informal surveys of real estate executives, investors, developers and market experts around the U.S., including survey responses from over 500 real estate executives and personal interviews with more than 125 industry leaders. 

Mr. Maiorano is the Chair for Mission Advancement at the ULI Triangle District Council. As part of the Real Estate Development group at Smith Anderson, Mr. Maiorano advises clients on all aspects of the public and private construction process, as well as real estate and development related matters.
