Geoffrey Krouse Appointed to Ronald McDonald House of Durham Board of Trustees

Raleigh, NC (May 13, 2010) – Geoffrey Krouse, a partner in Smith Anderson’s Mergers & Acquisitions, Private Equity and Securities & Growth practice areas, has been appointed to the Board of Trustees of the Ronald McDonald House of Durham. He will also serve on the Executive Committee and Development Committee, with all terms expiring in 2012.

The Ronald McDonald House of Durham provides a home for families to stay while their child receives medical treatment at Duke Children’s Hospital and other local health centers. Since 1980, the Ronald McDonald House of Durham has served more than 800 families annually.

Mr. Krouse has extensive experience representing public and private buyers and sellers in mergers and acquisitions and recapitalization transactions, representing companies in public and private securities offerings, and assisting companies with corporate governance, compliance and other general corporate matters.
