Overview

Ashley Williams is an attorney with Smith Anderson’s Banking & Finance practice group.

Prior to joining the firm, Ashley was the assistant vice president of general counsel at Credit Suisse in its Fund Linked Products and Legal Initiatives & Regulatory Reform groups. Her experience includes review and negotiation of transaction documents related to NAV financing, senior secured revolvers, and term loan facilities for private equity funds, SPVs and hedge funds.

Ashley also provided legal counsel surrounding various risks to the company’s business team during negotiations and drafting and coordinated with the business team, clients, outside financial firms and outside counsel for the execution of various lending transaction documents.

Ashley and her husband have a Golden Retriever named Milo, and they are all big University of Alabama fans who encourage everyone to Roll Tide!
