Kim Korando Speaks at the NCACPA 75th Annual Symposium

Raleigh, N.C. – On November 19, 2014, Smith Anderson partner Kim Korando presented at the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants’ (NCACPA) 75th Annual Symposium that was held in Greensboro, N.C., on November 17–19, 2014.  Kim’s presentation, “When IT Meets HR:  Four Policies Every Workplace Needs,” discussed recent trends and best practices related to policies and practices covering computer and IT resources, protecting company information when employees leave, social media and bring your own device (BYOD) programs.

The Annual Symposium, the NCACPA’s flagship event, was attended by over 800 participants and included sessions presented by nationally recognized speakers and industry professionals.
